Comprehensive DBT Program

Learn Skills to Live a Life Worth Living

Find balance in your life by seeking the middle path. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced-based therapy to help people with emotional dysregulation issues.

Comprehensive DBT services are available for persons with borderline personality disorder, substance abuse & dependence, behavioral addictions, eating disorders, depression, anxiety disorder, bi-polar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other mood & cognitive disorders.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training Groups

MBSU no longer requires individual therapy in order to attend Skills Group.

The general goal of DBT Skills Training is to learn how to change your own behaviors, emotions, and thoughts that are linked to problems in living and are causing misery and distress.

The DBT Skills Training Groups are open to persons not enrolled in the MBSU Comprehensive DBT Program.

No prior DBT treatment is required to attend our Skills Training Groups.

Workshops for Mental Health Therapists

MBSU offers Workshops for Mental Health Therapists interested in learning specific Individual Therapy Strategies aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of work with clients.

Chuck Nuttall, LCSW teaches a variety of courses in a small classroom setting. They are designed to offer concrete tools and strategies for therapists to assist clients in meeting treatment goals.

Friends & Family Seminars

Our Friends & Family Seminars are aimed at enhancing and strengthening relationships. Learn about emotional dysregulation and how to effectively support your loved ones.

Family members and loved ones of those with Emotion Dysregulation Issues are invited to learn more about how DBT skills are helpful in increasing awareness and tolerating distressing situations.
